Topological Quantum Computing Group, led by Prof. Ke He, adjoint scientist of BAQIS and professor of Tsinghua University, consists of 13 members (10 full-time and 3 part-time). The team aims at realizing topological quantum computing which is expected to provide a fundamental solution to quantum error correction―the key issue of quantum information―and with this approach, eventually achieving a universal programmable quantum computer.
