Objectives of Division of Quantum Engineering Research: to train and anneal a group of high-level scientific engineers, to organize and build the world-class public service experimental platforms, and to provide first-class technical talents and hardware platform for all research groups of the institute and even for the national quantum information research field. Build a complete map of quantum information technology support capability, comprehensively cover all processes and technologies required by quantum information, and provide a solid technical foundation for China's quantum information technology to maintain its leading position in the world.

At present, there has 50 engineers and 1 research secretary in the division.
