    Physicists from the High-temperature Superconductivity Group Discovered A Novel Type of Resistance Oscillations in Cuprates

    Recently, a team led by Prof. Ding Zhang and Prof. Qi-Kun Xue managed to carry out a systematic transport study in the lightly doped regime. This breakthrough was reached thanks to the recent technical advances in sample fabrications and modulations of the group. Their study, entitled "Little-Parks like oscillations in lightly doped cuprate superconductors", was published in Nature Communications​ on 14th March 2022.

    The First Loophole-Free Test of Quantum Contextuality with Two Species of Atomic Ions

    Recently, Professor Kihwan Kim, assistant researchers Pengfei Wang and Jing-Ning Zhang from BAQIS, in cooperation with Tsinghua University, University de Seville and Southern University of Science and Technology, have experimentally demonstrated the first loophole-free quantum contextuality test. The work titled with "Significant loophole-free test of Kochen-Specker contextuality using two species of atomic ions" was published in Science Advances on February 9th.

    BAQIS Chief Scientist Zhiliang Yuan and Collaborators Published on Nature Communications: a New Technique for Improving Long-Distance Quantum Communication in a Real Field

    In the study “Coherent phase transfer for real-world twin-field quantum key distribution”, published in Nature Communications, the Italian INRiM team demonstrated experimentally that coherent laser interferometry considerably improves the performances of long-distance quantum communication in real-world networks. BAQIS Chief Scientist Zhiliang Yuan contributed to the design of the experimental setup.

    Study of Quantum Calibrated MFM with NV Center in Diamond by Yan Liu Published on PRB

    Dr. Yan Liu, BAQIS Assistant Researcher from Atomic Ensemble Precision Measurement Group, and his collaborators from Germany proposed and realized calibration of magnetic force microscopy with a single NV center. The results have been published on Physical Review B recently.
