Recently, the Ultrafast Optical Spectroscopy team led by Professor Qihua Xiong at BAQIS and their international collaborators have made an important progress in the field of quantum optics and quantum information.

Recently, the team of Professor Kihwan Kim of BAQIS/Tsinghua University has made new progress on error-mitigated quantum computation with trapped ions, demonstrating the ability of suppressing errors in complex quantum circuits without additional quantum resources.

The Quantum Cloud group at BAQIS and School of Integrated Circuits at Tsinghua University have made a major breakthrough on cryogenic CMOS quantum interface chipsets for large-scale integration in quantum computing systems.

Recently, a series of theoretical progress have been made in noise-resilient quantum gates with trapped ions by a team led by professor Liang-You Peng and CAS academician Qihuang Gong from Beijing Academy of Quantum Information Sciences and School of Physics at Peking University.
