While the Chinese New Year is approaching, BAQIS held 2022 Chinese New Year tea party & International Culture Exchange Day on January 26th.

On October 24, the American Physical Society announced that Qikun Xue, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, President of Beijing Academy of Quantum Information Sciences (BAQIS), and Professor at Tsinghua University, has been awarded this year's Oliver E. Buckley Condensed Matter Physics Prize. Since the award was first granted in 1953, this is the first time the prize has been awarded to a physicist of Chinese nationality.

BAQIS recently achieved a significant milestone with the successful convening of the Academic Advisory Board meeting on October 15th to 16th, 2023. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the achievements of BAQIS over the past 5 years and provide valuable consultation and guidance for future development.
