Nicolo Forcellini graduated with a Master’s degree in theoretical physics at Imperial College London (2016) and then received his Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter physics from the University of Cambridge (2016-2020). Subsequently, he completed a postdoctoral appointment (2021-2023) at BAQIS, where he continues to work but now as an Assistant Research Scientist in the Theoretical Condensed Matter group.

His main interests lie at the intersection of condensed matter theory and quantum computing, e.g., quantum systems out of equilibrium, the study and application of Floquet circuits in quantum processors, and quantum error mitigation and correction.
