Lin Haicheng is an associate researcher in the low-dimensional quantum materials research team of the Division of Quantum State of Matter at the Beijing Academy of Quantum Information Science. He received his bachelor's degree in physics from Xiamen University in 2012 and completed his doctorate in physics from Tsinghua University in 2018. He also conducted postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Germany.

Lin's research interests are focused on low-dimensional materials such as two-dimensional superconducting materials, ferroelectric materials, and heterojunctions with molecular beam epitaxial (MBE) and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) technologies. He has published 13 papers in journals such as Science, Nat. Phys. and Phys. Rev. Lett. with more than 900 citations. His current research work is primarily focused on the development of MBE-STM joint systems, the regulation of low-dimensional superconducting states, and the construction of high-quality Josephson junctions.
