BAQIS Successfully Held the Development and Future of Quantum Computation Forum

As one of the forum meetings of 2023 ZGC Forum, the Development and Future of Quantum Computation Forum organized by BAQIS was successfully held in the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center on May 30, 2023.

In the keynote speech session, BAQIS invited 9 top scientists from China and abroad, including Frank Wilczek, winner of the 2004 Nobel Prize in Physics, member of the US National Academy of Sciences, and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; David Wineland, winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics, member of the US National Academy of Sciences, and professor at the University of Oregon; Jian-Wei Pan, CAS member and Executive Vice President of the University of Science and Technology of China; Chang-Pu Sun, CAS Member and professor at the Graduate School of China Academy of Engineering Physics; Christopher Monroe, member of the US National Academy of Sciences, a professor at Duke University, founder and chief scientist of IonQ; Daniel Loss, member of European Academy of Sciences, and professor at the University of Basel, Switzerland; Mark Saffman, professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and chief scientist of ColdQuanta; Lu-Ming Duan, CC Yao Professor and the Fundamental Science Chair Professor at Tsinghua University; as well as Heng Fan, a researcher at the Institute of Physics, CAS and BAQIS. The speakers shared their valuable insights, perspectives and the latest progress in quantum computing research on the forum.
