The following are two examples of how a diploma is verified outside China.

u  For a diploma obtained from University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands:

1)    The diploma must be verified by Dutch Ministry of Education;

2)    The court has to verify the translation;

3)    Dutch Foreign Ministry must sign Apostille;

4)    Chinese embassy verifies the Dutch Foreign Ministry official’s signature.

The verification is completed after the sticker of Chinese embassy is attached to the print copy of the diploma.

u  For a diploma obtained from University of Hyderabad in India:

1)    The diploma must be notarized;

2)    The notarized diploma must be verified by the state government;

3)    The diploma must be verified by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA);

4)    Chinese embassy verifies the signature of the relevant official of the MEA;

The verification is completed after the sticker of Chinese embassy is attached to the print copy of the diploma.
