Qi-Kun Xue, Presidents of BAQIS and Members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), delivered welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Prof. Tao Xiang, Presidents of BAQIS and Members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), moderated the opening ceremony.

The organizing committee invited 16 world-leading scientists from 9 countries and regions such as Jaw-Shen Tsai, professor at the Tokyo University of Science, David DiVincenzo, Member of the National Academy of Sciences and professor at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Yasunobu Nakamura, professor at The University of Tokyo and Director of the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing, and Mika Sillanpaa, member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters and professor at the Aalto University.

To promote academic exchange and encourage broader participation, QPQIS-2025 has featured contributed sessions and invited talks. The contributed sessions include both oral presentations and poster presentations, offering researchers diverse platforms to share their work and engage with the academic community.

After rigorous screening by the organizing committee, 21 high-quality submissions were selected for oral presentations, including contributions from scholars at domestic and international institutions, such as the Jo?ef Stefan Institute in Slovenia, Peking University, Zhejiang University, and the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, making it a major highlight of the conference.

The poster sessions, including onsite poster sessions and online exhibitions, also attracted significant attention, especially for early-career researchers.

Dr. Huaibin Zhuang, Assistant President of BAQIS, delivered closing remarks and announced the winners of the "Best Poster Award” at the conference's closing ceremony. Since 2021, the QPQIS series conferences have established this award with monetary prizes to encourage outstanding contributions. This year's poster panel, consisted of over 30 experts, including members of the organizing committee, invited speakers, and senior researchers from BAQIS. After comprehensive evaluation in terms of scientific content, design, and clarity of presentation, three posters submitted by Ph.D. students from BAQIS, Institute of Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tsinghua University respectively were selected to receive the Best Poster Award for their outstanding work. Prof. Hongqi Xu, Prof. Kasumi Tanigaki and Dr. Fei Yan presented the "Best Poster Award" to the winners at the closing ceremony.

QPQIS-2025 marks another major international academic exchange event hosted by BAQIS during the UN-designated "International Year of Quantum Science and Technology." This conference has been well recognized among peers in the relevant fields, playing a significant role in further cultivating an international academic atmosphere, establishing an international platform for academic exchange, and enhancing international influence for BAQIS.
