Quantum information science is the focus of widespread attention in the international world today. The National Natural Science Foundation of China's major research project "The Construction and Manipulation of the Second Generation of Quantum Systems" was established and implemented in 2020, aiming at constructing and manipulating the second-generation quantum system showing quantum behaviors such as entanglement/superposition quantum states, developing Forward-looking and basic research in quantum information science promotes interdisciplinary research in mathematics, information, engineering materials, chemistry, etc., and lays a physical foundation for the realization of quantum technologies such as quantum computers.

According to the relevant management regulations of the National Natural Science Foundation of China on major research projects, the annual meeting is required to be held every year, and the project director reports the progress and conducts academic exchanges. It is scheduled to be held in Beijing on March 29th-30th, 2023 (registration on March 28th). Organized by BAQIS.

The academic exchange session is arranged for this conference. Each talk is 9 minutes introduction and 3 minutes discussion. Academic exchanges are conducted around the following four themes:

(1) Controllable preparation of quantum functional materials and precise construction of quantum state systems;

(2) Experimental technology and theory of precise detection and control of quantum states;

(3) Solid-state quantum computing;

(4) Exploration of new quantum computing systems and experimental schemes.
