The Job:

The newly established Quantum Artificial Intelligence Research Group at the Beijing Academy of Quantum Information Sciences (BAQIS), invites applications for Research Professor and Postdoctoral positions. Our group pioneers the deep integration of artificial intelligence with quantum science, focusing on three synergistic directions:

·     AI for Quantum: We develop advanced, physically grounded AI algorithms to solve fundamental problems in quantum materials, quantum error correction, and quantum simulations.

·     Quantum for AI: We explore the principles of quantum mechanics and statistical physics to design next-generation AI architectures, driving innovation in autonomous scientific discovery.

·     Science of AI: We investigate the theoretical foundations of machine learning itself, leveraging tools from quantum information, statistical mechanics, and complexity theory to understand and enhance modern AI.

Successful candidates will work closely with leading Principal Investigators and collaborators within BAQIS and its extensive network on cutting-edge topics at the intersection of AI, quantum matter, and quantum computation. The position offers a structured pathway toward long-term academic advancement.
