Ning Deng

Prof. Ning Deng obtained his Ph.D. degree in School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2002. Afterwards he joined the Institute of Microelectronics, Tsinghua University, as a postdoctoral fellow, and stayed as a lectorate. From 2008 to 2009, Prof. Deng worked in Technische Universiteit Delft (TUDelft) and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as a visiting scholar. His research focused on novel resistive random access memory, brain-inspired intelligence and intelligent sensor technology. So far, Prof. Deng has authored or co-authored more than 100 papers and filed 11 authorized patents. He awarded the 11th Young Teachers Fund from Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation and lectured “Fundamentals Semiconductor Physics” in Tsinghua University.  

Prof. Deng is Deputy Dean of Office of Scientific Research & Development, Professor at Department of Microelectonics and Nanoelectronics, Tsinghua University, and the Deputy Director of NCNST since July 2019.
